I recently installed FSX and am considering purchasing the FSX version of the MAAM-SIM DC-3. Do the repaints that are on the MAAM website for the DC-3 also work in the FSX version? Thank you. Gary

Well, I "thought" I had installed SP1. Perhaps I screwed up the installation. My first installation did cure the CTD problem.My uncle flew the Avenger for awhile during WWII. Wish he lived closer so I could show him the MAAM model.Thanks again.Gary

Vaughan and fbfb,Thanks for your help. I reinstalled SP1 and that solved my problems. I tested the different Avenger models and they all work correctly now. I am very relieved, as I also have the R4D and B-25 by MAAM and love both of them. I was getting frustrated with the Avenger.Thanks again!Gary

Vaughn,All of my Avengers have this problem. I can get around it using keyboard commands, but that is not as convenient as simply clicking the icon with the mouse.Gary

I just downloaded and installed SP 1 for the Avenger and was happy that FS 9 no longer crashes when I change to different versions of the Avenger. However, I have noticed that the SimIcons for the electrical panel, throttle quadrant, and right, center, and left panel views no longer work. Has anyone else experienced this.Gary

I have been enjoying the latest version of the R4D/DC-3 and am trying to explore the virtual cockpit and cabin views. Using the FS key commands, I am not able to actually get into the virtual cabin. Starting from the cockpit, I only get as far as the door that separates the cabin from the cockpit. Is this normal, or do I need Active Camera in order to get into the cabin itself?Gary

OOPS! Sorry! After I posted this message I tried reinstalling the patch again. This time I got a message indicating it was necessary to restart my computer in order for the changes to become effective. Once I did that, everything was okay.Great plane!!
