April 12, 200323 yr Simply awesome!!Thank you.Still flying her around the world. Most fun I have had with Fs2002 ever. Never get tired of looking at her. She is about two hours away from Tokyo at the moment. Then to Russia and into Alaska. Thank you again.Frenchy -- out.
April 12, 200323 yr Got them this morning.. She still looks purty even without clothes on!!Shangra-la is next, right?
April 12, 200323 yr Jan, I just gotta say what a wizard you are with the electronic paint brush.I am not really into military aircraft but I 'freeloaded' the R4D way back purely because it looked so nice and bought BT for the same reason and will buy R4D again when it's released.I don't know of any other aircraft that has the same 'real' look about it.A big thank you to the rest of the team for producing two excellent aircraft and for keeping *this* team together. As my nickname suggest I have soft spot for a certain 'flying football field' and have purchased the PSS Vulcan but nice as it is, it does not have that 'real' look that you are so good at.Many thanks.BTW Hope some of the US guys will help the UK out to get XH558 back in the sky by purchasing the PSS Vulcan ;-)
April 12, 200323 yr >Looks great Jan, what other versions are you planning? Thanks Wallace. In the paintshop now an 'in between' version of BT with slightly faded OD over bare-metal and "Karrie On" from a fictious squadron, also bare-metal.best regards,Jan

April 12, 200323 yr >Shangra-la is next, right? Not next i'm afraid Jerry, maybe later.See my post to Wallace.best regards,Jan
April 13, 200323 yr On behalf of the team thanks very much for the compliments, Vulcan, highly appreciated !>BTW Hope some of the US guys will help the UK out to get >XH558 back in the sky by purchasing the PSS Vulcan ;-)I'm from Holland but i'll sure get my copy one of these days! :-cool I had the pleasure, many years ago, to see that 'flying football field' being put to its paces at one of the many British air display shows. And, although i can't remember at which show it actually was ( wasn't Greenham Common or Farnborough and certainly not Old Warden...;-), maybe Duxford or Hendon...) i certainly can vividly remember the awesome sight and sound i had never seen or heard before. ( the few Lightning displays i witnessed come close though (-: )From the screenshots i can tell PSS did a terrific job on this remarkable aircraft. Now where's that credit card..Thanks again,Vulcan !best regards,Jan
April 13, 200323 yr Not to worry. Think I can bring her in on almost anything solid. -- Ice, slush or a carrier deck. Err, the slush must have solid earth beneath Couple of thoughts from an Old Geezer. The panel gauges are excellant. Really like the click and thunk of the mechanical devices. Constantly hop from seat to seat checking the gauges. Bit of a mis-match at first -- but then rock steady. Excellant. Think it is 2400 miles that can be done with one fuel up. Not sure. Getting close. Will keep trying to stretch the envelope. Note: -- Airspeed goes to h**l stetching fuel.Frenchy -- out.
April 16, 200323 yr Hi Jan,What can one say ,but "FANTASTIC" "BRILLIANT" and "CONGRATULATIONS"The details of the 3rd shot was just amazing. So REAL!The memories keep flooding back to the 1940's.However, i think you are keeping everyone on tenderhooks waiting for the "What's is he going to release next, can't wait syndrome"This must be the most talked about aircraft in FS.An 18 Sqn texture would make a lot of old guys "downunder" very happy if and when you would release one."Keep them flying":-waveCharles [befree] KranenburgThere are OLD pilots and BOLD pilots, but no OLD BOLD pilots
April 18, 200323 yr Thanks very much for the compliments and kind words,Charles. Great fun doing textures when the 'stress' of creating the model is gone but still quite a lot of time involved. I'll keep that 18 Sqn in mind but please don't hold your breath.(-: best regards,Jan
