May 10, 200323 yr Hello,Just a question about one of the trims on the B-25J Mitchell.I see the one for the left and right aileron.I see the one for the left and right rudder.I don't see the one for the horizontal rudder that is very useful to stabilize the altitude of the aircraft during the flight.Where is it located on the dashboard ?Thank you for your helpBye
May 10, 200323 yr Commercial Member Hi Jean,As it is traditionally on many planes, the elevator trim is controlled by a large wheel attached to the side of the throttle quadrant. The trim indicator scale for it is at the top-left corner of the quadrant, though it's hard to see at times behind the throttle levers. The user's manual has a section covering the quadrant, including the use of the elevator trim wheel. May 11, 200323 yr Hi Bill,Thank you for your help.I have cleaned my glasses and now I can see the trim indicator scale.I enjoy a lot with your marvellous B-25. I'm older than it but I have still the noise of its engines in my ears when it flyed above my head near Paris during WW2.Thanks again.
