I purchased the download version of the B-25 on the day it was released, and it was great. I normally avoid military stuff in FS, but the B-25 really got my attention.Some time ago I had a HD crash and lost all my addons. I know I should have backed everything up, but I was lazy and kept on putting it off.Anyway, I've got everything up and running again, and I've just purchased the B-25 again :)Are there any RAF paints available or in the works?Also, are there any plans to do a B-17? I'd love to have go at flying one of those in FS :)BTW, if you're interested in supporting a similarly good cause, check out the PSS Vulcan. I purchased this too due to my love for the real aircraft and it's a fantastic addon. Great fun to fly and it looks extremely impressive. We are hopeful that a repainter will do an RAF livery, as well as those of other nations, as so many countries used the Mitchell during and after the war. I hope that the present master BT repainter, Stephan Demmelmeier, will branch out into some of these, but so far he's putting out a stunning assortment of American Mitchells. Why don't you shoot him an e-mail at [email protected] and ask him.If you can provide a repainter with good source pictures for the livery you would like to see, these are always a big help and encouragement to him to produce your desired plane. Please, no currently eixting, restored planes though. Keep it to historical, or even imaginary identities for your Mitchell, as are some of Stephan's. No copyright problems are desired!We are hoping that other talented repainters will join Stephan to produce free skins for BT, too. Jan is very busy with the Gmax R4D, as we all are, so we can't expect much more from him at the moment. Bill,I have several photos of RAF Mitchells - every one in black and white, which are no use whatsoever.The only real option, unless someone has a set of very good images, would be to take standard RAF camouflage (not bare metal, which is unrealistic in the extreme for ETO RAF aircraft) and put appropriate markings on it. I'll have a trawl and see if I can come up with a Squadron that flew Mitchells - I may even get a registration number if we're unlucky. ;-)Ian P.:-halo
