A nice repaint

"Heavenly Body" was the first B-25 in fifty years to fly from the deck of an aircraft carrier, the U.S.S. Ranger in San Diego Bay. That event was to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of then, Lt. Col. James Doolittle's, flight of sixteen B-25 aircraft from the navy carrier, U.S.S. Hornet (CV-8), on April 18, 1942 to bomb Japan in retaliation for that country's attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/30988.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/30889.jpgAny policy against uploading repaints? I'd love to share this when it is completed.Luhiss

Plenty of others have been uploaded, but you may want to check with maam just in case.

Great looking repaint man :-eek .Check with Maam first if u want to upload your textures. But i am afraid if this plane is still flying today , u will not be allowed to upload these textures for good reasons.I made the same experience with my second repaint and Maam explained me their policies and reasons for uploading addon textures.Nevertheless a great paint !!Rattle

Rattle, the repaint meister, is correct. We, MAAM-SIM, are an arm of the Mid Atlantic Air Museum and part of our mission is to promote our own collection. Promoting other, competing, restored B-25's is counterproductive for us. So as a policy, we do not allow uploads of repaints depicting still-flying B-25's. That is a decision taken by our President and I trust that you understand our position.Nice work, though, and if you, like Rattle, would like to depict another aircraft with either fictionalized or genuine nose art and numbers from the same squadron, we would be happy to see her join the freeware BT repaint fleet.Bill RambowMAAM-SIM - Rambow, Visser, Banting, Young, Womack, and Hamblyhttp://www.spottedantelope.com/bwomack/ima...aam-sim_sig.gif
