Hi folks and especially Bill... ;-)I was watching the BBC's "Big Read" Top 100 books of all time last night and, amongst the top-21 short list that we all get to vote for between now and Christmas was a rather well known tome called "Catch 22"...The thing is, it was being championed by John Sergeant, a BBC News reporter. He was first seen sitting in a co-pilot's seat above a familiar looking blue circular emblem, then next to a Sperry bombsite, then wearing a set of David Clark's inside.Whichever B25 it was, the speech was dubbed because you could hear it. You mean they did not give the museum a credit? Shame! Hopefully the fee was healthy enough to make up for that slight. Yes, indeed it was our BT starring in the piece. Somewhere around here, on one of these many hard drives, I have some pictures of the BBC crew shooting some of the ground scenes at MAAM. Russ and I were rather amused to hear the director talking about the star turning from his co pilot's seat and speaking to the camera - in flight! Obviously it did not take long before they discovered that, barring a double-engine failure, this was not in the realm of possibility. When I find the shots I'll post a few.
