FS9 B-25 'Medium' and 'Light' model users : Attention !...

Featured Replies

Hi Folks,Depending on your video card, users of the FS9 updated B-25 'Medium' and 'Light' complexity models might've noticed that the 'Glassfix. exe' doesn't exactly gets that perspex back into the canopy frames. If you use a Geforce3/4 or similar 'modern' video card and you want to give the pilots that protective perspex back : download 'bt_fs9glassfix_up.zip' which i just have uploaded here in the Avsim file library. It corrects a little glitch in the FS9 Update installation preventing the 'Medium' and 'Light' models to get their glass fixed when using 'Glassfix.exe'.After having installed this glassfix update be sure to run 'Glassfix.exe' again so it can do its work properly this time. You can find 'Glassfix.exe' inside your B-25 main folder but i guess you already knew that. (-: If you see your pilots having to deal with a head-on raging 250 kts storm each time you take 'm up, do them a favor and download and install this small glassfix update. They'll love you for it and so will i because, without any hint of glass inside those canopy frames i think our B-25 looks pretty pathetic. :( best regards,Jan

Hello Jan!I've made a big mistake. I run "glassfix.exe" in my FSX Installation and now I get 2 error-messages when starting FSX:1.0000000000000000000000000 is greater than0.00000000000000000000000001.0700000524520874000000000 is greater than0.0000000000000000000000000Is there a chance to get the glassfix.exe undone? What does this exe File do?I installed the glassfix.exe into a seperate Folder and there is only a Folder with "B-25...". Something this exe have done with my FSX Installation.Hope you can help me an I must not reinstall FSX.Best regards,Martin

Hi Martin, sorry for the late reply. Did you solve your FSX problem in the mean time ? This B-25 'glassfix.exe' is really only ment for FS9, it doesn't solve any glass transparency problems for the B-25 model in FSX. Do you use FSX with Acceleration/SP2 ? cheers,Jan
