Briefing Time repaints/add-ons

Featured Replies

I'm having a problem with adding some of the BT repaints. Some of the install directions tell you to look the folder "B-25J Briefing Time bare-metal" and copy it to the new folder, such as the "Angel of Mercy."I've installed the bare-metal files per directions, twice, and don't have a "B-25J Briefing Time bare-metal" folder. The only place I can find a bare-metal version is in FS2004.Am I missing something? Or, am I just thick headed and not installing correctly? I'm now totally confused on this one.TIA,Jim

This is an easy problem to fix !In FS2002 the "ordinary" and "Bare Metal" variants went into separate folders, wheras in FS2004 they all go into the same folder.Simply extract the files into a temporary folder, move the new texture folder into the B-25 Briefing Time folder and make the additions to the aircraft.cfg file.Bear in mind that if you're getting started with the B-25 in FS2004 the original, Bare Metal and Solid Nose variants need to be installed in the correct order, details with the extra packages.Cheers,Alastair

:-kewl Now it all makes sense. I noticed with some of the newest repaints that they went into the "B-25 Briefing Time" folder and I needed to modify the aircraft.cfg file and rename the texture file for each individual repaint. It's such a simple fix and I tried to make it too complicated... :-roll Thanks so much for the help. I'm off to fix some files.Jim
