MAAM FS2004 R4D VC - can't access passenger cabin

Featured Replies

While I have not tried everything yet, what I have tried (engine start, cabin doors, etc.) seems to work fine - with one exception: neither the hat switch "forward" or CTRL, 8 (no NUMLock) will give me access to the passenger cabin. What I get is the cockpit overhead padding (I think). It does "hold" this view as advertised. Joystick is a MS Force Feedback 2. All other hat switch positions function correctly. Can anybody help with this?Mike

Hi Mike,I as talked into removing the 2-D R4D cabin view from the forward hat switch position, since there is a virtual cabin back there, and in fact, a different one for each of the three planes. It was also a bit non-intuitve to push the switch forward and find yourself looking aft. So what you are seeing is the default Forward Up view. You'll see exactly the same thing if you pan up in VC mode.Sounds like I forgot to drop some reference to it in the manual, though. Good grief!! Someone actually read the thing!!!! :-jumpyBill Rambow MAAM-SIM - Rambow, Visser, Banting, Young, Womack, and Hamblyhttp://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/maamsim_logo.gif

Mike, My FF2 works fine. From the VC use the hatswitch to rotate toward the cabin, then whatever key command you have set to move the view forward (I use Active Camera so don't have the default keys for this area but it's in the FS manuals)Allcott
