July 31, 200421 yr I downloaded and installed the patch, which appears to have been successful. However, I'm back to being unable to put the positive lock lever in full up position to allow me to mouseclick the landing gear up. This time around, it's impossible, not even after using the keyboard to raise the gear and click the gear lever to re-extend.Any ideas? Would the IFR panel addon have caused this somehow? July 31, 200421 yr I can't answer your basic question, Stone man, but can tell you that:a) the 'IFR' panel add-on is not an official add-on so any queries on it should come to me, not poor over-worked Bill and the MAAM-SIM team!:( I cannot see that you would have any issues with the landing gear using my panel specifically, as the landing gear pop-up is configured identically to the standard panel and uses the MAAM-SIM gauge set. That said, you should try it using both the original panel and mine, of course, and then you'll answer that for yourself! If you SHOULD conclude that it is a particular problem with my little add-on, do post again though. August 1, 200421 yr Author Didn't think it was your IFR panel, since the gear popup is pretty much the exact same popup as the original panel except it uses a different shift-? number.. But, following your suggestion, I fired up flightsim earlier tonight (for the first time since posting that message), and set myself up in the original R4D-6 (which had a few very simple modifications, but also not affecting the gear/flaps popup), and took it for a test flight. Even on the ground before the flight, I the positive lock handle worked perfectly, able to hit all 3 positions, without having to cycle the gear with the keyboard. So, I quit flightsim to make sure I got in the IFR plane on a clean slate, reloaded it with the IFR version of the R4D-6 (cloned the R4D instead of the pax. DC-3). The positive lock handle worked perfectly again, even on the ground before flight. Did my testflight, then restarted flightsim again to make sure it wasn't just a fluke. Still worked perfectly...So, I don't know what to say... I had tested it just before I posted the message, and the handle failed. I didn't do a single thing to flightsim since posting that message, and now it works... Go figure... :-hmmm Declared weather: FSX: ASN / FS9: ASE
August 1, 200421 yr Ha! Just one of those FS things, then.If you're using my panel with the R4D remember that it's not set up properly for that. Maybe you have rung your own changes, but we're talking different engine sets and gauges.Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumonthttp://www.swiremariners.com/newlogo.jpg _________________________ Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont VP Fleet, DC-3 Airways Team Member, MAAM-SIM
