DC3 Rudder and Elevator Trim

Recommended Posts

Guest Overhyped

Hi all!Apologies in advance that this isn't strictly a MAAM-SIM post, but I thought that the people who were best qualified to answer my question might be found here! :-)I currently fly the default DC3 with Dave Bitzer's and Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont's altered flight dynamics. My question is whether I should set some rudder and eleveator trim before takeoff to counteract torque, or whether I should gradually add it after takeoff. If before takeoff, what settings are recommended? Any help would be appreciated!Cheers!Paul Mallows...

Hi Paul,Sorry, I think your best bet for help on this is the excellant forum at DC-3 Airways http://www.dc3airways.com/ where Mark and Dave can help you out. As you note, this is the MAAM-SIM Support Forum and we won't be harboring threads concerning other planes.
