March 20, 200521 yr Not sure if anyone else is having this problem, but my Speed and Time To Station readings from both Nav radios are way off in my DC-3. Quite often it will show speeds in the 300-450 knot range. Any thoughts or fixes?
March 20, 200521 yr Commercial Member Hi Tom,There have been no reports of any odd behavior from the DME. With the boys at DC-3 Airways putting in thousands of hours of serious navigation with these birds, I certainly would have expected to hear if there was a bug in the DME.How about that, Mark? Ever heard this before over at DCA?The only way I can get it to go haywire, and then only briefly, is by changing the simulation rate to 4 or 8 X, then returning to normal. The DME will then momentarily show some hign numbers as it corrects. If yours are off all the time, I would suspect some outside influence from another add-on or utility.Bill Rambow MAAM-SIM - Rambow, Visser, Banting, Young, Womack, Sodja & Beaumonthttp://www.fssupport.com/maam_sim/maamsim_logo2.gif Bill Rambow MAAM-SIM www.maam.org
