Have I missed a patch?

Featured Replies

Hi all,A few weeks ago there were a couple of problems with the C47 release, ie the Fs2004 plane had the wrong airfile and there were fuzzy textures on the panel. I understood that a patch would follow but haven't seen anything, have I missed this?Steve

Yes and no. The self-installing patch fixing the switched air files in very early downloads of the D-Day C47 / Dakota pack or early CD's including them is in the file library. It's also here...http://www.avsim.com/~maamdev/dak_p1_9.zipJan gave me replacement texture bitmaps curing the mip problem that caused the fuzzy wuzzies on the C-47 VCs on some video cards. I have now uploaded that as well. No self-installer on this one, but all you need do is copy all the files in the zip into all four C-47/Dakota texture folders, replacing the ones there. Mind you, they do NOT go in the R4D, DC-3s or XC-47 - only the four D-Day birds. If you are not seeing fuzzy VC textures, you don't need these, but they won't hurt anything.http://www.avsim.com/~maamdev/nomips.zipGood thing I have you guys around to serve as my memory!Bill RambowMAAM-SIM http://www.fssupport.com/maam/maamsim_neon.gif
