The History Channel's "Gunny" R. Lee Ermey, complete with his Jeep, tent, gear, and 'Mail Call' film crew is coming to MAAM's World War II Weekend this June! I'm told they saw the new website and asked to participate! Wow, talk about a payoff for a fledgling webmaster!Gunny Ermey will be leading the 'Liberation of Reading' vehicle convoy in his Jeep on Friday as well as the Saturday and Sunday on-field convoys. In between time he'll be signing autographs, selling his goodies, and filming the show for a future episode of 'Mail Call'We'll get him to fly the MAAM-SIM planes, for sure. :-)As if that were not enough to get you to the show, how about the only Lancaster and real Daimler powered Bf-109E in North America, along with a Spit and Hurri for a Battle of Britain re-enactment.
