February 20, 200620 yr Roger that . . . the model must match texture (on any FS aircraft). The good news is all the MAAM R4D textures are interchangeable with the various MAAM models listed; i.e., passenger repaints fit MAAM cargo.

There are minor differences; pax doors vs. cargo doors, number of windows, scoops, tail type, interiors, seats vs. cargo, colour of lavatory paper, that sort of thing. Nothing that can't be overcome, though, with some attention to detail.MarkMark "Dark Moment" BeaumontVP Fleet, DC-3 AirwaysTeam Member, MAAM-SIM[a href=http://www.swiremariners.com/cathayhk.html" target="_blank]http://www.paxship.com/maamlogo2.jpg[/a] _________________________ Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont VP Fleet, DC-3 Airways Team Member, MAAM-SIM
February 21, 200620 yr Thank you drawing this to my attention, Mark. Permit me to restate my reply: "The good news is, all the MAAM R4D textures have the appearance of being interchangeable with the various MAAM models listed; i.e., passenger repaints appear to fit MAAM cargo."
February 22, 200620 yr OK, Bill! It's all down to what you're prepared to put up with, I suppose. I see eight major issues there that would get me fired if I released paints like that, and that's without looking at the details close up! But yes, in principle the basic model shape is the same. It's just that there are a lot of different texture mapping issues and small alignment considerations also. But they all fly, whatever colour they are!MarkMark "Dark Moment" BeaumontVP Fleet, DC-3 AirwaysTeam Member, MAAM-SIM[a href=http://www.swiremariners.com/cathayhk.html" target="_blank]http://www.paxship.com/maamlogo2.jpg[/a] _________________________ Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont VP Fleet, DC-3 Airways Team Member, MAAM-SIM
