B25J-BT Installation Issue

Featured Replies

Hello,I just bought the CD and tried to install the FS-2004 version in the default folder for FS-2004. I get the following message:"Installation complete.... has not been totally intalled because of the following reason. This file contains invalid data."I run a fresh install of FS-2004 (no add-ons) on XP SP2. The FS9 folder doesn't contain any reference to Briefing Time, so it doesn't look like the installation went very far.Any suggestion would be highly appreciated.

Hello APSAre you installing to the C:/ drive?See our README for an explanation of why this is necessary. If you are installing to another drive, you need to take alternative steps.Let us know, and we'll go from there.MarkMark "Dark Moment" BeaumontVP Fleet, DC-3 AirwaysTeam Member, MAAM-SIM[a href=http://www.swiremariners.com/cx.html" target="_blank]http://www.paxship.com/avsimlogo.jpg[/a]

Hi APS (how about a real first name so we can get to know each other? :-)If you are certain you are installing the FS9 version - there is also an FS2002 version on the CD - and are installing to the default FS9 directory, I can not understand why it's not working. I assume you are looking for the airplane under North American in the aircraft manufacturer's menu? If you would like, send me an e-mail to [email protected] and I'll give you my phone number, or I'll call you if you are in the US, as I have unlimited domestic long distance service. Then we can sit down and go through the install routine to see if we can figure out what's going wrong. I can also provide you with a download of a new installer, just in case something is corrupted, although I don't think we have ever had a report of that with a new CD. Worth a shot, though.Bill RambowMAAM-SIM http://www.fssupport.com/maam/hgrsm_blkani.gif
