July 8, 200718 yr I was wondering if the FSX patch which is for the CD version can be used on the download version. If not is there anyway to get the downloaded version to work in FSXThanksChris AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 5.2GHz | Gigabyte Aorus Elite RX 9070XT | MSI X870E Edge TI WiFi MB | M.2 NVMe SSD"s 1X1TB/2X2TB/1X4TB | HDD's 2X8TB | 32GB DDR5 6000MHz | Windows 11 64 Pro
July 9, 200718 yr There is no download version, Chris, unless you are referring to the 'Briefing Time' demo that was offered when the aircraft was originally released. If so, then I can only suggest you try using it in FSX, applying the upgrade, and see what happens. I think you'll understand that we won't be spending any time on this ourselves, as we've much work to do with the full versions of our aircraft, which bring donations to MAAM. The demo was not fully functional. If, however, you are in possession of a full version, downloaded, then we'd be grateful to know how it came into your possession, as it could be possible that someone has provided you with an illegal copy. Thanks, that would be much appreciated.MarkMark "Dark Moment" BeaumontVP Fleet, DC-3 AirwaysTeam Member, MAAM-SIM[a href=http://www.swiremariners.com/cx.html" target="_blank]http://www.paxship.com/avsimlogo.jpg[/a] _________________________ Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont VP Fleet, DC-3 Airways Team Member, MAAM-SIM
July 9, 200718 yr Author No Mine is the original Briefing Time B25 for 2002 with the updates for 2004.Really old........ got it back in 2003 from the VMAX store which is now the Asim store I believe.Maybe I should just get with the times and buy the newest version on CD but wasnt sure if there was a big difference between the old Briefing Time 25 and the latest CD'sWill try your suggestion of installing it and applying the CD patchThanks Chris AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 5.2GHz | Gigabyte Aorus Elite RX 9070XT | MSI X870E Edge TI WiFi MB | M.2 NVMe SSD"s 1X1TB/2X2TB/1X4TB | HDD's 2X8TB | 32GB DDR5 6000MHz | Windows 11 64 Pro
July 10, 200718 yr I'm going to let Bill Rambow answer you further when he returns from leaping about in real B-25s in Michigan, Chris. I'm a mere youngster around here but I was unaware that there had ever been a download version, although MAAM-SIM did have an arrangement at one time to sell CDs through VMAX, yes. What I can say is that you should not be thinking of applying any CD patch for FSX... the patch is a download, and is available at Avsim and on MAAM-SIM site.I heartily recommend, of course, that you do "just get with the times and buy the newest version on CD", as this directly supports the museum (with no commissions to third parties) and you'd be sure of the latest package that way! Anyway, as I say, Bill will comment.Mark Mark "Dark Moment" BeaumontVP Fleet, DC-3 AirwaysTeam Member, MAAM-SIM[a href=http://www.swiremariners.com/cx.html" target="_blank]http://www.paxship.com/avsimlogo.jpg[/a] _________________________ Mark "Dark Moment" Beaumont VP Fleet, DC-3 Airways Team Member, MAAM-SIM
