August 18, 200718 yr I have been wishing for this for a long time so I thought I would post it here to see how other people felt about it. I would love it if someday somebody would release scenery for all of the USAAF airfields in the UK during WWII. Some of them still exist in MSFS but alot of them don't. Wouldn't it be a GREAT on line session to recreate Operation Neptune. There is alot of information out there about the formations of C-47's that flew that day. Also if that scenery could include the marker beacons used for navaids during the flights. That would be great too. Does anybody else think that would be a great idea???
August 19, 200718 yr Or do Operation Market, if you don't like flying at night. I regularly fly the MAAM-SIM RAF Dakotas from IWM Duxford and Hawkinge, both of which are freeware. It would be nice to see more WWII airfields, tho.
August 19, 200718 yr In e Operation Market Garden, www.dc3airways.com is preparing an MP series recreating those historic WWII missions. Please join us at dca, and once a member read the forums. Information will be posted as we get closer to the event, which should be sometime in September. Shermdca662
