February 1, 200818 yr to try to make it clearer......i have two separate drives ...vista...C and xp...Di have maam installed in fs9-xp,....but, in the xp in D drive, i can't load the oybpb and other addons, because there is no c drive in xp in which to place the dummy install....how do i get around this...got to get the maam working well in at least one drive. i hope someone can help....
February 1, 200818 yr Commercial Member Change the drive designation in the installation path to match one of your XP directories. That should do it.Bill RambowMAAM-SIM http://www.fssupport.com/maam/hgrsm_blkani.gif Bill Rambow MAAM-SIM www.maam.org
February 2, 200818 yr Commercial Member On second thought... It's only OY-BPB that has this dummy install procedure for non-default FS directories. All subsequent MAAM-SIM add-ons allow you to change the path where you have FS installed and then look for a particular file from the R4D package to validate that you are a legitimate customer. So, if you can get past the BPB installation, you should have no further issues because of your lack of a C: drive in your XP.Never having dealt with a dual OS setup, I'm not sure what would work for you. So I will upload the aircraft without the installer and send you the URL by e-mail.Bill RambowMAAM-SIM http://www.fssupport.com/maam/hgrsm_blkani.gif Bill Rambow MAAM-SIM www.maam.org
February 2, 200818 yr Author what can i say, but thank you so very much...without your dc3, the flight sim would feel slightly depressing....it's the light of the sim...sorry, but i get extremely attatched to things and designs which are so well made and beautiful.....looking forward to the texture upgrade hopefully not too far in the future...if i live that long, being 67 next week.......i know...i'm still young:-) ...cheers, vic [email protected] my computer doesn't block anything....
