December 31, 200223 yr Hiya guys, I recently installed Direct X 9,though I have no scrapped the idea of that being the problem. I had all the buttons working perfectly and the way I want them. Then for no apparent reason,I lose more than half the available buttons! The computeer just wont detect them, its weird I agree but with the 727 released and all...I want my setup back. It's not realistic without them, anyone got ANY ideas?RegardsJohn Mc AvinueEINN/BAV 855Senior captainhttp://www.bavirtual.co.ukP 2.53 GHZ512 RAMWINXPGFORCE 4 128MB Ti4600

December 31, 200223 yr Check your config files in the FS2002 root. I'm not sure of the name (I'm at work); but one of these files contains the information that you are looking for. It will have a cfg extension. I'll post the file name when I get home. I've got one of these also. Checked to see the condition of them, but I recently lost the slew section of my fs2002.cfg file for some unknown reason. I've recently installed DX9, maybe related.Jim
December 31, 200223 yr If that doesnt work - try using Win XP system restore to go to back to a time before you installed DX9 -- that should put whatever version of DX you had before back on. Be careful though, system restore sometimes crashes the computer or does other bad things... Good luck.
December 31, 200223 yr This of course assumes that you created a checkpoint at some point. :-) I usually only make them when making major changes, like video drivers, MS patches, etc.Jim
January 1, 200323 yr The settings are in the FS2002.cfg file. I've been having problems with mine for a couple of days now. It seems that there may be a size limitation on the file??? Mine is 9625 bytes. Check and see if you might have a backup?
