Black border on right side of monitor

Featured Replies

I get a 1/4" black border only on the right side of my monitor when running at 1600x1200x32 in FS9 in full screen mode. I have a 19" CRT monitor and an ATI 9800 pro video card. This border does not appear on the WinXP desktop when it is set to 1600x1200x32 @75hz. When in window mode in fs9, I have the window stretched to cover the full screen, but when I switch it to full screen, I get the border. When I run FS9 at 1280x1024x32 I dont get the border in full screen. Does anyone have any ideas on this?

Maybe your image is not centered. Try to shift the image to the right and strech it to cover the screen.Your monitor doesn't display the same image size at different resolutions, some tweaking may be needed to adjust the image size and position.Best regards,Pedro

Thanks for the suggestion Pedro, but my desktop and everything else is centered and has no borders. It only happens in fs9. If I try shifting the image using the monitor controls, then everything else goes out of whack.
