May 31, 200422 yr John - It depends on your what kind of sound card or motherboard you have. If you have a separate sound card plugged into the mother board the drivers will come from the manufacurer of the card. If the sound chip is built into the motherboard, the drivers usually are available from the motherboard manufacturer. May 31, 200422 yr Who made the computer John. Is it a Dell, HP, or some other brand name? Or was it sold by a local shop? The sound card is part of the computer hardware.
