GForce FX 5200 - any driver recommendations?

Featured Replies

I am not really sure I am getting the best performance out of my GForce FX 5200 (256MB) at the moment...I remember it was better in the past.Right now I'm using the 60.72 Forceware drivers. Is there any general opinion on the drivers for this card? Are some of the older ones perhaps better for FS2004 than the shiny new ones (won't be the first time)?Anyone got particularly good experiences with a certain driverset?Just trying to mess around a bit with the drivers, and looking for some advice so perhaps I don't have to poke into all holes to see where the easter egg is hidden. :)

I have a friend with a FX5200 and he is having really good results with the 56.72

Thanks, then those are the first on my list to try out. :)

when I had it, the only ones that worked great for me were the 53.03's. anything higher caused me problems!

Alright, thanks to both of you for the tips, I tested the two drivers and think I'll stay with the 56.72 for now - definitely an improvement compared to the 60.72.Happy flying,Robert
