New PC. To buy or not to buy???

I upgraded my PC several months back - it now has an Athlon XP 2800+ CPU, Radeon 9800Pro 128MB graphics and 1024MB DDR RAM. On the whole, it's still in the higher end of the PC spectrum - though far from the top these days - and I get good performance, but I do still get some annoying performance problems. (I don't want to reduce any of the display & hardware settings, which I seem to have about right after lots of trial and error - not that reducing the settings somewhat makes much difference to these performance problems/annoyances). I wonder whether the following are common to many people using FS9, or whether they are restricted to my PC for some reason:1. Scenery tends to come in and out of my default 1280x1024 resolution, so that screen seems almost to simmer (if you'll excuse the unintended pun!) as bits of the scenery (not the whole screen!) change from one resolution to another (i.e. constant change of sharp to blurred).2. Add-on planes. especially 32-bit, can take several seconds to load their livery textures, so that each time I go to 'spot' view I get a white plane.3. Frame rates could be better with some add-on scenery - Netherlands 2000 and Manhattan, for instance. (My set maximum of 30fps goes down to as low as 8).My 'cure' is just to splash out on a new PC. Tiny.com (but dare I buy from them????! I hear bad things all the time) are advertising a PC with an Athlon 64 3400+ CPU, same RAM and graphics card as I have now (though their Radeon has 256MB RAM) and an amazing array of features, for only

Save your money. You won't see the improvement you seek just by throwing more money at it. You have a good system. Rather than spend 799 for a new system, spend just $70-80USD on a consultaion with the compay FSGS (www.fsgs.com)Nothing but good things coming from them and their "System Unification".Sounds like you need tweaking instead of new componants. They spend hours with you and you don't pay until ytou are satisfied with the results.just a sugggestion.
