Good afternoon gentlemen,I come up with a question.Since a couple of days, I have fs9 crashing all the times at the same place. Normaly it happens when flying online, and in this case, I have the firewall and all disconected to avoid problem with Vatsim. Neverthelmess i just made a test, of line, and this time, my fire wall came up with programm modified, indicating DXDIAG.EXE, then FS9 crashed using a PANELS.DLL reason, last time it was weather.dll, and yesterday simmap.dll.normaly seasonal crash would lead directly to desktop with out asking do you want to send the report to Microsoft. So if some one could give his thought about this, it would help a lot.I have DX9.0C installed. Thanks for help and supportCpt Cyrille de Lattrewww.corporateaviationservices.comAsus P4P800/P4 2.4 giga/1.5 giga DDR/Ati 9700 pro 128 meg

I would try updating your MOBO controller chip drivers, i.e., Intel, VIA, SiS, AMD, ALi, NForce to see if the update eliminates your problem. If not, try downloading and reinstalling DirectX9.0c. You could try a different graphics card driver.DXDIAG.exe is the directx diagnostic program. To start this program, press Start, Run..., type dxdiag, OK. Let the program stabilize, ensure you are using directx9.0b or 9.0c. Select the display tab, ensure Directdraw, Direct3d, and AGP accelerations are enabled. If grayed out, reinstall the MOBO controller chip drivers. Run the Directdraw and Direct3d tests and not any failures. You can select the other directx tabs and run the associated tests if desired.Several other items are computer maintenance related. Right click the Internet Explorer Icon, select properties, press Delete Files button, yes to offline files, OK. Press Delete Cookies button to completly delete existing cookies. Otherwise, press the Settings button, View files button, and selectively delete unnecessary cookies. Return to the Settings menu page, press the View Objects button. Review the installed objects. Any that are damaged can be removed. Others with Unknown can be removed if you didn't purposely install the objects. The remaining can be removed if you don't want them installed. Some will be reinstalled, such as, Shockwave Flash object if you visit a website that required the object running. Exit to the Options menu page and press the delete history button. Exit the entire menu.Press start, click My Computer, right click the disk drive with Windows, usually C:. Select properties, press Disk Cleanup, press OK to delete files. There are also other tools available on the properties menu. Select tools tab, and run a disk defragmentation.Lastly, you might check to see what programs/processes are started during computer boot. Download fsasv1b8.zip for a program that helps with shutting down unneeded programs.W. Sieffert
