Okay I am very frustrated now! I have reinstalled my FS9 (Of course loosing all that I have done already) and my yoke still does not work right in the game! All the buttons are not working, like looking around the cockpit with the hat button. I don't know how to assign this. When I calibrate the yoke, every thing works fine. Every button shows up! So I believe the yoke is working fine. Why is this happening? Please don't tell me that I have to reinstall XP! AAAAAAA :-grr I just want to fly jets!!!!Help please or this thing is going into the garbage and I'm going back to my Barbie's. Ha, charm Ken, all Barbie has to do is show up naked with chicken wings and not block the TV! lolMy Yoke is connected directly to the computer and not through a hub. When I first got them, everything worked fine. They were plug and play. Oneday it was fine, the next day I load up the flight to continue and gone. Now they do not work in the game. I can assign keys to them and have got back most of it. Just the hat and the red buttons on top I have not been able to program. If some is programmable and some not seems like something indead is broken with it. You have tried to reinstall the software for the yoke? Tried other games?

Hi Kittie;Start fs9.If you're opening settup takes you to the main menu screen...select "settings"On the right of the page under "Controls" select "Assignments".If you are running rudder pedals the "Joystick type" box willprobably show them. Click the dropdown arrow and select the CH yoke.Scroll down almost to the end,and look at event column for"View(Pan)" in the joystick column it should say "Hat switch".In the repeat column the slider should be maxed out to the right.If nothing is shown click on that "event". After it's highlited,click on "Change asignment" and follow the prompts in the popupbox.I used to have this problem a lot after my computer had been onfor a while. Something running in the background affected it Iguess, but I'D have to do a cold boot and then FS9 would recognisethe controls. I suppose something was messing up a registry entry.Hope this helps cause "Barbies" are a poor substitute forB52's}( DN
