November 9, 200421 yr Very recently I acquired the new CH Throttle Quadrant (multi-engine version). I am running it on a new HP pavilion, a640n, Athlon 64 processor and latest Radeon video card. CH Yoke and Pedals are also installed and have been running well. After successful calibration and before downloading and installing CH's new 3.5 Control Manager, I experienced the following problems:1. The two left levers (assigned in FS9 to throttles) advance throttles equally, but do not advance throttles to the full range.2. The two middle levers (assigned in FS9 to props) operate differently - the first (left) operates properly to the full range, and the second (right) operates within a restricted range, so that whent the two levers are set together, the prop settings differ.3. The two left levers (assigned in FS9 to mixtures) operate diffently - the left lever does not operate at all (although it is active in the test and calibration windows, and the right lever operates properly to the full range. After downloading and installing CH's Control Manager 3.5, all game controllers (Yoke, Pedals and Quadrant are disabled). The user's guide is not very clear on how to do assignments, with no step by step walk through on a typical FS assignment. After attempting to follow the guide very carefully, I was unable to successfully assign any functions at all. The calibration utility in 3.5 is very good and easy to use.Control Manager 3.5 also cause other problems with my operating system, which appear to result from the disabling of other drivers - particularly my video card drivers, which I reinstalled to correct the problem. So for now, I have unistalled 3.5 and disconnected the quadrant. Before returining it, I would be grateful to know whether others have experienced problems with this product.pjpilot
