How do you delete MS2024 and then reinstall it? The program is not listed in my Control Panel/Programs and Features.

Now, I am really confused. I renamed the original general and aircraft profiles and now I set a few settings under the new name and come back, and they are not there. Also, the original binding list does not appear any more. I really would appreciate any help available. I have already watched many videos on this subject and thought I understood it, but I sure don't. I am afraid that I deleted all the default settings. Is that possible? Thanks, Howard

Hi Rob. I have a been an FS user since FS2 in 1984 on a PC Jr. I remember you did some great work back then and really admired what you have done. I have been having more trouble trying to set up my controls now than I ever had before. I remember Bob McKay and all the other guys back then. That was a wonderful and exciting time, using our imagination and going to those great conferences. I have watched Many videos on this subject and still having problems. This thread, I think, will be very helpful. Part of my problem may be that I am now a lot older and probably having a harder time 'concentrating'. I have the Saitek Yoke, Throttles, Multi Panel, Cessna Trim Wheel and Switch panel. Also the wonderful Flight 1 GTN 750 gauge. Are any or all of these supported? Also, does it support 3 screens? I am going to purchase AeroFly 2 tonite for my PC and have been using it for some time on my iPhone and iPad. I have been a flight simmer since 1984 on a PC Jr and have done a lot of beta testing for the Microsoft flight sims over the years. I currently use P3D and I think AeroFly 2 could definitely be the future. Thanks, Howard

I just received my Saitek Multi Panel and the auto pilot works great on all aircraft with the Flight 1 GTN750, so far, except the A2A 182 & 172. I really like flying the 182 and could someone please suggest another good quality 182? Maybe Carenado or another company that the Multi Panel would work with? Thanks a lot,

I currently am using Active Sky Next and am purchasing AS16 and ASCA. Do I first have to uninstall ASN or do I install AS16 & ASCA over it? Thanks, Howard

Thank you all for your help. I finally located and deleted the dll.xml file. I started P3D and it built a new file and all is well once more. Thanks again to everybody. Howard

There were a lot of errors listed but I don't know what to do with them. Should I just reinstall the academic file?

How do I know which files are corrupted and can I delete them? If this doesn't work can I just install the latest Prepar3D_Academic file? Should I delete the old file first? Thanks a Lot,

I started getting a fatal error and cannot start P3D. I tried a window's restore and it did not help. Do you think I could reinstall P3D over the existing program without completely starting over and reinstalling all add-ons? Thanks a lot, Howard
