Installing Active Sky?

Recommended Posts

I am purchasing the new Active Sky Combo and I have AS16 already installed.  Should I uninstall AS16 or install the new combo over it?

Thanks,

Howard

If with 'combo' you mean AS16 and ASCA and you have the AS16 demo installed, only install ASCA and enter registration details in the already installed AS16. No need to uninstall and reinstall it.

I apologize, that I already have Active Sky Next installed, not AS16.

Thanks,

If you don't plan on using ASN anymore (and why would you) I would uninstall ASN and then install AS16 and ASCA. What you shouldn't do is install AS16 OVER ASN! Install AS16 into its own folder, not into the ASN folder.

Jeroen beat me to it.... I agree. And because each one installs a unique simconnect module I think it best to uninstall ASN.

By the way, HiFi has an active forum and pretty good support over there.
