Dual PC Setup

Featured Replies

I will soon take delivery of a very upscale rig. I will run dual monitors (assuming I can figure out how to do that) but I will also have the option of running a Dual PC setup using my old P4, 1.7, 512 rig as the second PC.I did a search on "dual pc" and got a billion hits. Could someone point me to the correct thread or otherwise advise me where to look for advice? Thanks,Jim

Dual monitor and Dual PC.Not sure what you plan to do here but I have this system currently set up. You can view pictures and WideFS data files etc. here.http://www3.sympatico.ca/wolpert/KPHL_Webs...teFS/WideFS.htmThe most important thing to realize about multimonitor and multiPC setups is that at the end of the day Flight Simulator will only run on 1 PC. You can use the multiple screens to show you the popup panels of various planes or use other PC's to run 3rd party software that runs specific aircraft gauges. Give FreeFD a try. I personally use my dual monitors to run the main display and some other panels such as the FMC or radio panel. The second computer is used to run all of the Vatsim software and 3rd party weather.Mark.
