Are you guys using Memory Defragmenter programs?And if yes, which one is the best in each category (free / shareware)?Thanks for your help

Hi there, Ken Salter's FSAutoStart utilility comes with a memory defrag option, I always use it when starting FS. My free memory can increase by about 100mb or more, which is nice :)This is also on top of it's main feature which is to end non-essential processes when FS (or other games etc) are launched.. The best part is that FSAutostart is free and availiable in the avsim file library.Hope this helps you out :)

I use Ken's Autostart too but I don't use the memory defragger as I reboot before I start FS9 so my system is "clean." Wonder if I should be using it anyway? billg

Thank you for your repliesIn fact, I am talking about the in-flight mem defrag. I usually do a lot of things during cruize. Alt+TAB, I browse, update my AITraffic, etc...When reaching ToD, I go back to my flight. In that case, I like to defrag my memory to recover the max of it before the approach phase.
