TrackIR goes opposite way

Featured Replies

Hi All,I have been using TrackIR for a while now and I enjoy it very much. However, today I was cleaning up the cables behind my PC and by mistake I plugged the TrackIR USB plug in a different port than before. No issues you would normally think. However, now when I move my head to the left, TrackIR thinks I go the right. When I go the right, he thinks I go the left. Upwards and downwards go fine.I am using TrackIR with the Vector Expension. It has been running great for a couple of months until today.I have reinstalled the software a couple times. The device is standing on my screen with 0degrees adjustments. Would appreciate your help!

1. Don't see any responses yet. Have you tried the TrackIR forum at NaturalPoint? http://forums.naturalpoint.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi2. While waiting for a more authoritative response, try this as a workaround: in TrackIR software, go to View | Tracking | Settings. Under "Camera Rotation," click on 180.

Hi, Thanks for your reply.Indeed I have done a search over at the naturalpoint forums as well. Also I wrote the same question. The 180 rotation did not help Because then it does exactly the seem. I asume it is the USB driver which is doing something wrong. I have tried to delete it in the safe mode of WindowsXP but that did not help much.
