Noticed this a lot now. My PC clock is off and even the day sometimes. Having to use the Date and Time Properties window to correct this. Shouldn't this be automatic? I always that was the purpose of the battery on the MB?

If I may ask, in the Date and Time properties window under the Internet Time tab, is the "automatically synchronize" box checked?

How old is the battery? They do occasionally have to be replaced.

Yes, the Sync box is checked. But ya know that is a great suggestion on the battery... maybe it is dead. I'll chk it.thx!

Hope that's what it is. I used to be a computer tech (many years ago) and back then it was either a bad battery or problems with the MB. billg
