Once installed, MyTraffic also places two .bat files in your Aircraft folder. One is MyTraffic-vis and the other MyTraffic-unvis. Double clicking the unvis file will also make those aircraft unseen in your selection dropdown...

CPU Search
I'm a fan of the Core 2 Duo as well. Bought an E8600 and found out I could have gotten along quite well on a more affordable E8400/8500. While, I'm holding back those tears, I remind myself that I'm overclocked at 4.2GHz on air without a care in the world... :(

ABOUT FS2004 CARENADO PRODUCTS
You know, that's not the first time you've said that. And it shouldn't matter. To anyone. It wasn't the first time you posted it, nor is it now, an FSX vs FS9 topic. Quit trying to make it a testimonial on your behalf, alright? And for the record, "to be honest...if FS9ers stopped buying A LOT OF THINGS (alcohol, cigarettes, food, clothing, cars etc) and used that money to save for a new PC to run FSX, they would have it...in no time." Please consider leaving this be?...

ABOUT FS2004 CARENADO PRODUCTS
I use MSFS and xplane, enjoying both for different reasons; that said I'm a a really excited user to neither. But it seems that once Carenado's decision is out there, like it or not, it's out there. To beleaguer them, singularly or as an entire consumer base would seem a little futile, wouldn't it? In the long term, one wouldn't see them standing back, scrathing their collective heads and walking back to the FS9 table...

Once the autopilot is switched on, establish a climb rate with the rocker switch on the left side. Once you reach the desired altitude, hit the "ALT" button.

Cessna 152 problem
Hmm...curious...In reading the other forum's replies, I wouldn't think it would have been caused by improper load or P-factor, either. The reason I asked about FSUIPC is that I had once inadvertently checked the "Aircraft specific" box on one of the calibration tabs in FSUIPC. I was at quite a loss up to that point and found it by accident.

Colton Harris-Moore and Flight Sim
I don't know why you'd want to offer up this as theory...but why bring it up? Unless you're bored and wanting attention...Was hoping no one here would allude to MSFS being sensationalized in an already drawn out, unfortunate subject. IMHO it seems your comments are actually masking more of an "FSX is better than ____" attitude. The fact that a (any) flight simulator was used just kinda gives you a platform, doesn't it? Just an opinion: Leave it alone? And please consider that there are a lot more interesting and worthwhile things to debate on or "theorize"? No flames, man. Just a request. And as for the "hard landings"? They were luckily survived and it wouldn't matter what version of MSFS used or VC vs 2D. Why? Because for the record, MSFS is marketed as a simulation game, not a stand-alone simulator...doesn't make anyone "not intelligent" to think that way... :(

Barefoot Bandit ! Airplane Thief
Although it's sad to lengthen this diatribe upon those with unquestionable ethics, a few statements I still question...what specifically was the potential though? were there any close calls? how did he operate the aircraft?http://www.cnn.com/2010/CRIME/02/12/barefo...?iref=allsearchFirst paragraph lends pause, I think. Maybe it's just me, but I doubt he read any NOTAMs that day...Fact: The kid did zero physical harm to any human being.http://www.cnn.com/2010/CRIME/06/30/barefo...?iref=allsearchFrom the middle of the article:Harris-Moore also is suspected of breaking into a home in Yankton, South Dakota, on June 17, police said. The residents returned early one morning to find the intruder inside the house, said Jerry Hisek, the Yankton Police Department's assistant police chief."He'd eaten some of their food, took a shower, cut his hair," Hisek said of the intruder. "He started to run and the guy chased him into the basement of the house."The intruder "laser-dotted the guy and said, 'I have a gun. Get out of here, or I'm going to kill you.'" Hisek said the owner did not know if the individual had a laser pen or a gun."We're classifying him as armed," he said.Just speculation of an alleged incident. Really now, without want to incur the ire of those involved, how does it look for him? Whatever is argued here won't matter at all to decisions of the state and federal legal bodies he'll face. Potential to do harm vs willingness or intention? Which will prevail in prosecution and defense arguments? Ya'll have fun with the rest of this... :(

Barefoot Bandit ! Airplane Thief
Well. That certainly set me straight. I simply chose the wrong point of view, didn't I? For a minute, I thought your defense of him was...admiration? But now I see that you were merely correcting a sadly uninformed opinion. :( Oh, it's an important lesson I've learned here today. But what can I do? When you're right, you're right, aren't you Ed? Thanks for your help and please have a pleasant evening. Seriously... :(

Barefoot Bandit ! Airplane Thief
So, other than himself, this kid posed NO THREAT WHATSOEVER to another living being (let alone property) by operating more than one aircraft, on more than one occasion, as an unskilled and unlicensed pilot? That's rather optomistic, I'd say...While it is only my opinion, it's fortunate that he was apprehended before the law of averages caught up with him.

NEXT PROJECT REVEALED
Socata has made some great aircraft. And has quite a history as Morane-Saulnier. But I don't see how the matter of geographic origin would play into the decision of whether or not to produce a certain model?...

C185 Bush for FS9
Why are the bouncing issues in Carenado a/c (185, Seneca, Arrow) so hit and miss? I haven't had issues with either a/c but read of many who do?
