Motherboard Question (how can I tell)

Featured Replies

Dear All,Without sounding completely stupid here? (I have not got my m/b manual) Is there any software that I can download which will inform me of my motherboard specs?I know it is made by Shuttle http://eu.shuttle.com/en/DesktopDefault.aspx/tabid-2/I am fairly certain that it is a AB60 motherboard but without taking my pc apart and checking from serial numbers etc. I just wanted to know if there was any software I could use to determin this, and possibly shortcut the situation ????my ultimate aim is to find out the maximum processor I can have in my motherboard I currently have a P4 2.4Ghz and was looking to upgrade to either a 2.8 or perhaps a 3.06 if possible? but I get slightly confused when FSB comes into the equation how can I tell what this is from my current specs?Kind Regards
