April 9, 200521 yr I have started some on-line flying with the new SquawkBox 3 and want to plug-in my headset to the front of my case. There are two push-out plastic plugs to receive the jacks but I cannot find the appropriate cables anywhere, even the case manufacturer does not have them. I have also noticed cases by other manufacturers with the same set up - but no cables. The set-up I am trying to achieve is two stereo cables with a jack at one end and a 3.5mm? stereo plug at the other end which then plug into the audio and mic jacks of the sound card.I have tried everywhere - computer parts, audio parts including Radio Shack and there is nothing around.Short of making them myself (and that concerns me re shielding of the mic connection and not wanting to upset the online ATC's), does anyone have any idea where I might find such a cable.NigelVancouver
April 12, 200521 yr Hi Nigel,Not sure whether this will help, but this is how I resolved the problem of frontal access a couple of years back:http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/112632.jpghttp://www.frontx.com/Very slick service and certainly worth considering.Mike
