May 23, 200521 yr I think most people that would buy this, tend to be the same people wanting the best GPU and CPU; Essentially making their expensive investment that much more expensive.
May 23, 200521 yr I forgot to make my point! :-lol What I wanted to say was that I think this is more to enhance things rather than replace them. Its marketed as a high-end tool. So the guys with low end CPUs and GPUs probably wouldn't even look at it.
May 23, 200521 yr I'd be thrilled to be able to pop that into my current system using my Athlon XP to gain some positive frames without having to upgrade my motherbaord and CPU. However, wouldn't the program (or future program) have to be written for it?RH
May 23, 200521 yr Thanks for the info! I will keep my eye on it. I remember the days of FS98 when a Voodoo2 or 3 would make a substantial difference in FS performance. That certainly is not the case today with most cards.RH
