Well they are official after all......Anyone else got the black viewing screen where the planes are? Like we did when MSFS first came out?XP Home SP2Asus P4P800-SE Intel 3.0GHZDDR 400 D/C 2x512MBLeadtek 6800GT 256MB (71.84)SB AudigyMSFF2 & X45 throttleSee you in the fence...CYYZ

I got the black viewing screen,also....I had to turn AA back down to 4X to get it back!

Just finished installing these nVidia drivers. Got half a black screen in the PMDG 737NG cockpit. The VC was fine. Since I'm a recent returnee to MSFS, had no idea as to the cause.Had to install them twice before they took effect. Will have to go into FS9 and check the settings. Is this something that is routine with new drivers?donmac

I don't have this problem. I do have the complete 737 set from PMDG (600-900) and all the patches applied. These are good drivers the only bug is the default video settings (mpegs appear washed out until you reset to default in video settings) and the black plane screen in MSFS 2004 in create a flight. Also, no it is not routine to have to install them twice. Did you remove your old drivers first? If not I suggest you un-install and then re-boot, then re-install the drivers. You may have some segments of your old drivers in there.XP Home SP2Asus P4P800-SE Intel 3.0GHZDDR 400 D/C 2x512MBLeadtek 6800GT 256MB (77.72)SB AudigyMSFF2 & X45 throttleSee you in the fence...CYYZ

Yes, I did uninstall the display drivers and rebooted before installing the new ones. When there were obvious problems with the first install... it didn't see my second monitor, etc., I simply reinstalled.Didn't have any problems with the black except in the cockpit view of the 737-800NG. Should have saved a pic of that one I suppose but at the time didn't think of it. Just flew from the VC.Appreciate your comments and warnings about uninstalling first.donmac

ALTSTIF,I have the washed out mpeg problem with these drivers. What do you mean by "reset to default"? With the player or in the Nvidia settings?Michael

If I remember correctly,,you go into the nvidia display control properties menu,,look for the setting for video or color or gamma settings. I checked the box for standard? or advanced, something like that ,and my mpegs cleared right up. Sorry I can't remember exactly,as I got rid of that nvidia card. You'll find it.......AlTstiff from the nascar forums?

Yes from Nascar. Among many other sim racing forums. Were you there under another name? The fix for the washed out mpegs is this>>Go to color correction - select overlay from where it says desktop. Now at the bottom select advance hit apply..it fixes the issueOr for those that need more input...Go to advanced options in your driverproperties, choose "Video Overlay Settings" - "Adjust Colors" choose "overlay" in the dropdownmenu. There the gamma settings is set on factor 3,61 and its not possible to change that to 1,0!!! Its a bug... but u can change it to 0,5... in this case it looks a way better...Also, the blacked out plane viewer screen in "create a flight" is solved by lowering my AA setting to X4. I was running 1280x1024 with X8AA but switched to 1600x1200 x4 and it cured the problem.XP Home SP2Asus P4P800-SE Intel 3.0GHZDDR 400 D/C 2x512MBLeadtek 6800GT 256MB (77.72)SB AudigyCH Products Yoke/Pedals USBSee you in the fence...CYYZ
