Wide FS

Featured Replies

Hi All,I have access to a second PC shortly, and have heard of the utility WIDEFS but i'm not entirely sure what this little program can do. Therefore, can anyone please tell me what they are using Widefs for when running FS on there particular setups.ThanksDK

Hi, WideFS consists of two components, WideServer and WideClient. The Server module is run on the FS2002 machine, the Client module on your networked machine(s). The modules are used to exchange data between the flight simulator and remotely running addon programs. You can use it with FSFlightMax, FSGarmin, Project Magenta software, AirPlan...It

Best thing since sliced bread if you ask me. I use WideFS all the time.

I use it for Radar Contact (ATC), ActiveSky wxRE (weather) and NAV3 (moving map & AI traffic).
