September 12, 200520 yr Very interesting benchmark that finally proves that a good mid-range GPU, like the Radeon 9800, performs just fine along with the top players in FS9 and that the lastest technologies only produce a very marginal increase in performance.(Re: Threads from people "I just upgraded to a Radeon X8xx and don't see any FPS improvments)
September 13, 200520 yr I disagree. At 1280x1024 4x/8x the 6800U produced 50 FPS and the 9800 Pro 30 FPS. Of course if you disable FSAA and AF the difference is much smaller but who'd want to do that? -
