October 10, 200520 yr Well they don't make my RAM stick anymore, its a PC4000 crucial ballistix 1 gig stick. You don't want to mix and match memory sticks, right? So that means if I want 2 gbs I have to buy 2 new sticks? Thanks,
October 10, 200520 yr I also heard to not mix them up, but I have 2 different manufacturers for my two sticks and seems decent . But i am not very knowledgable with computers. Intel I7 12700KF / 32 GB Ram-3600mhz / Windows 11 - 64 bit / NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060TI / 32" Acer Monitor, Honeycomb alpha/bravo, CH rudder pedals, Tobii 5, Buttkicker, Logitech radio panel.
October 14, 200520 yr You can generally mix memory sticks. Check your mainboard specs for compatibility. Matched sticks (Dual-DDR) are all hyped and won't get you a large performance boost at all (maybe 1%-2%).
