Okay, current system:Windows XP Home1 Gig 2700 DDR RamAMD2800XP Nvidia 6600GT w/128 RamCurrenly use:Fs2004ASVPMDG 737NGFlight1 PC-12Eaglesoft Citation XKA B200Several complex add-on sceneriesI have considered upgrading to an AMD64 3700 processor w/ new Mother Bd. for around $300. OR should I wait for some prices to come down and get the FX series or the AMD 4400 processor and PCIe motherboard/video card? Im starting to bog my system down in performance and want to upgrade, but here's the big question: WILL I SEE MUCH DIFFERENCE in the AMD2800 and the AMD64 3700?thanks guys,

Humble advise on my part - I did nearly the same step going from AMD Athlon XP 2800+ to AMD 64 3500 and got some very significant performance increase.Part of it might also be due to changing my video card as well though (going from Radeon 9700 to Radeon X800XL).Just my 2 cents worth.Dom

Wow, thanks Dom. That is good news. I dont know what to do now. I now feel that the AMD 4400 may be even better then and worth the wait for it to come down a bit. Not sure if the price difference will be worth going ahead or not. With all my add ons, I stay at around 12-24 FPS, with it locked at 25 and all the sliders tuned to midway to full right, no water effects. It's a shame no water effects since Im in Florida and that's a large part of our region!Anyhow, will keep comparing prices!ERic
