DFI Motherboard

Featured Replies

hi,i got a dfi ultra-d mobo in april as part of my new setup, things where working fine until a month ago.now i cant event get to the bios,i just get a 2-3 second beep every 2-3 seconds.there will be the odd time that it will start normally, but i have to leave it on all day or forget it.this all happend out of the blue, and after i had finally got fs9 running with no stutters and good frames.after reading on the dfi forums i noticed that this has happend to many people with the ultra-d&sli.so i guess its a new mobo(asus i guess?),more money and install everting again and hope i can get it as smooth as it is now.i wanted to share this in case anyone is thinking about this board, hopefully the will find out the problem.thanks.

Not sure about that specific motherboard, but mine, when it doesn't load up, and beeps like that, it is a memory problem. Do you have any other chips of ram around that you can try?
