Strange Problem with CH USB Yoke

Featured Replies

Hello everyone. I don't visit this part of the forums, but this is a strange problem that I need advice on. OK, I have a CH USB yoke and rudders. All of a sudden tonight, I noticed when I hit button 1 or 2 which is on the right and left sides at the front tips of the yoke, (I assigned button#2 rht side to change my view, and #1 lft side for brakes which is by default) Button#1 triggers buttons 1-5-9 and hat view up. button#2 triggers 2-6-10 and hat veiw right. I found this out when I looked in my properties. I also noticed it was not installed under a usb port, but a generic port. I had it plugged into a usb hub. I removed the hub and finally got it to be seen in the usb port, but I have the same problem that will not go away. Is the yoke bad, or is my computer messed up. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game controllers several times to no avail. The yoke is 3 years old, so I think it could be the yoke. My rudders work fine and all other functions of the yoke are ok with the exception of buttons 1 and 2 causing this problem. I don't think two seperate buttons on opposite sides of the yoke would go bad at the same time unless they are shared somehow in the wiring? DX DIAG shows everything as ok.Thanks for any help. Best regards, Jeff
