December 14, 200520 yr I recently reinstalled my CH THROTTLE (USB) and lost all my settings. I /Johan Windh
December 14, 200520 yr Hi, Johan!Do you have this problem with all aircraft?I used the CH Control Manager to set the 'Detent Value' on the page 'Throttle Settings'.In FSUIPC I also assined FS Controls to the button events that are fired when the throttle is in the fully back position and in the indent position. At the fully back position the button event fires the FS Control 'Spoilers Off'. At the indent position the button event fires FS Control 'Spoilers Arm On'.How the spoilers deploy depends on the aircraft and if your on the ground or not. I don't have any problems with most aircraft, with one exception, the PMDG 737. So if you have problems with the PMDG 737 I can't help you.Good luck, JohanUlf BESML ;-)
December 15, 200520 yr I can't get the spoiler to behave allright. The spoilers won't arm when I move the CH 'throttle' to the detent. It won't arm if I use the FS key command either. This is a known problem with the spoilers and have been discussed over and over on the PMDG support forum. Spoilers in the PMDG 737 got to be armed by moving the spoiler lever with the mouse. It works perfectly well on the PMDG 747 and other aircraft. Otherwise I can handle the spoilers in the 737 with the CH Throttles but it's a little tricky to adjust them in between the armed position and the flight detent.Funny thing that they don't work after a reinstall. Do you use the CH Control Manager and did you calibrate them after the reinstall?Ulf B
December 22, 200520 yr Author Ok Think I solved it.. It was bacause I was only testing the spoilers on the ground, and therefore they got stuck in down detent..Sorry..But my throttle problem remains.. I cannot reach 100%, with either my ch throttle nor my keyboard or any other throttle/slider (yoke, ms sidewinder) It just jumps back to 75%,.... /Johan Windh

But on touchdown the spoilers should deploy 100% if armed.Ulf B
December 23, 200520 yr Author Ulf, YOU GOT IT!!!!!! :)It was all about N1 restriction..Is that all based on weight or can it be changed (other than in the N1 menu, changing TO to TO-1 or TO-2)??cheers! /Johan Windh
