December 22, 200520 yr Hi,I am going to buy a new system, that means a lot of wondering, pondering, reading and surfing. I want a set up with four screens with wide view. The point is how many pc's do I need.In a Flight Sim Com forum I found a post stating: "According to Microsoft, Fs can now support 4 hardware - accelerated displays".Great, but does support mean that one can use the four screens for Fs scenery and have reasonable FPs (18/25 p.s.)???Of course I would need a top end PC someting like:-Asus A8N32-SLI-DX NF4 SLIx16 S939 PCIe motherboard, with two 256 MB Gforce videocards in SLI mode, a AMD 4400 x2 dual core processor and and a SATA HD raid 0/3.But the crucial question is does it work ?Does anyone have experience with a system like this or should I go back tot a more regular two pc setup ?I hope tou have some suggestions for me.Hans
December 22, 200520 yr Actually Hans, you would need the two vieo cards but NOT sli. You would have to run the cards seperately to achieve the multi-monitor capability. See my setup in this link http://home.comcast.net/~psolk/3monitorsa.htmlHowever, i would not reccomend doing this UNTIL Nvidia get their head out of their butt. I spent all this money and if I run anything above the 78.05 drivers my whole system locks up.my .02,-PaulLiquid CooledAMD 4000 San Diego2 Gigs Kingston Corsair XMS CL2Dual 7800 GTX 24 inch widescreen dual 19 inch LCDRaid-0 Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk

December 23, 200520 yr Hello,I run 3 monitors on 2 video cards with success.BUT in fs9.cfg and in the settings of FS9 Settinds/display/hardware only 2 entries are visible. So that you can only make adjusments for the 2 monitors (resolution, mips, ...)I do not know how to make all the monitors visible in fs9.cfg , I did ask Microsoft but I did not receive a valid answer.
