BAD_POOL_HEADER on lift off

Featured Replies

hello all, when I take off, as soon as my gear leaves the ground, I get a blue screen and the following error: BAD_POOL_HEADER.I've done some googling but couldn't find the right answer to solve this problem. I've updated my video drivers (Geforce FX 5200) and I'm running XP with SP2 installed. My idea is that SP2 is the cause, but try running xp without SP2 nowadays... Anyone has an idea how to fix this error?

Did you see this link: http://www.tweaksforgeeks.com/BAD_POOL_HEADER.htmlIt's strange it's happening within FS9 and as you take off. Did you also load weather (where it goes on the Internet and updates periodically)? According to the above link it could be network drivers.I think this is a new error message within this forum. Also, another suggestion. Check Application Events (Event Viewer) and see if there's a recommendation to fix the problem.Hope you can get it figured out.Jim

i've seen that link. suggestions on other websites are also incompatible drivers but i havent changed anything to it. just all of a sudden my computer started acting like this. This is the error from my logfiles:Foutcode; 00000019, parameter1: 00000020, parameter2: 82084cb0, parameter3: 82084de8, parameter4: 0a270001.

A stick of RAM gone bad had also been known to cause this problem. If you have more than one stick of RAM installed pull one out and see what happens. If it still fails, substitute the other stick and see if it will run. Also, try swapping the RAM sticks between the slots in the motherboard. If you want to verify the RAM by testing it for errors I'd recommend memtest86 ( http://www.memtest86.com/ ).Doug

Intel 10700K @ 5.1Ghz, Asus Hero Maximus motherboard, Noctua NH-U12A cooler, Corsair Vengeance Pro 32GB 3200 MHz RAM, RTX 2060 Super GPU, Cooler Master HAF 932 Tower, Thermaltake 1000W Toughpower PSU, Windows 10 Professional 64-Bit, 100TB of disk storage. Klaatu barada nickto.

i've checked the RAM, and although the computer seemed to react a bit faster with only one card in use, the error still appeared. So it could be an error in my graphics card as well
