March 10, 200620 yr Hello,I am having trouble with my Matrox Parhelia 128Mb graphics card.I'm using the latest microsoft signed Parhelia drivers from the manufacturers website and have DirectX 9c installed. The sim starts up fine, but within 2 mins the whole screenbecomes fuzzy. It's a horrid sight!I have attached a screenshot, it's not pretty :(Does anyone have any ideas that I can try?Kind Regards,Coder :)
March 11, 200620 yr Welcome to the forum(s). I've seen that before. Twice. Both times it was a cooked video card. I'd try another card (begged or borrowed) to be sure, but it looks to me like the card may be failing as soon as it gets warm.Doug Intel 10700K @ 5.1Ghz, Asus Hero Maximus motherboard, Noctua NH-U12A cooler, Corsair Vengeance Pro 32GB 3200 MHz RAM, RTX 2060 Super GPU, Cooler Master HAF 932 Tower, Thermaltake 1000W Toughpower PSU, Windows 10 Professional 64-Bit, 100TB of disk storage. March 12, 200620 yr Thanks Doug,I've just installed a cooling unit for the card, but it still looksthe same. Thanks for your advice. I'll buy a new card next week.Kind Regards,Matt
March 12, 200620 yr Matt - Be sure to buy the card from a place where it can be returned. There is no guarantee that the problem will be fixed until the new card is installed. If it proves to be something else you don't want to be stuck with a card that you don't need. Most retail shops will allow a return but be sure to ask.
