March 11, 200620 yr I currently have an ATI 9800 Pro 128 mb video card. I try to keep up with the latest driver changes from ATI but have been very unhappy with the new style control center verses the older "Control Panel" used to set up the various setting on the card. What really bothers me is that the ATC window is almost unreadable when using the newer style CCC. I have only been able to find the old control panel going up to the 5.11 drivers from last year.Does anyone else out there have this same problem? If so, is there a way to use the newer 6 series drivers (this year) with the older control panel? Can the older control panel be downloaded separately as they appear to be bundled with the drivers? Finally, will I be able to view the ATC window selection without having to put my nose on the screen to see what is written?TerryPS: I remember reading the release notes on some of the early 6 series drivers and it said something about the multi player ATC problem. Is this what they were referring to?
March 11, 200620 yr The Omega drivers include ATI Tray Tools, a very good driver tweaker. Also, the DHZer0point drivers based on the 6.2's can be had with the old style Control Panel. Both driver sets are very good.http://www.driverheavendownloads.net/Also, when changing drivers be sure to use Drivercleaner Pro to rid the registry of previous settings. It too is available at DriverHeaven.Greg
