March 13, 200620 yr Has anyone here been able to compare these two installation options using the same hardware, insofar as FS9 performance/smoothness goes? I understand the current ACPI implementation is normally very stable n robust but I am curious nonetheless if there is any effect of bypassing IRQ sharing (ie having dedicated IRQs) on modern faster machines. If I end up reinstalling my OS some day I may try choosing the standard PC HAL just to see how it goes.
